VCS Project 5010 M/s. TATA COFFEE LIMITED (TCL) TREE PLANTATION CARBON PROJECT IN WESTERN GHATS

This is to bring to your kind notice that TATA COFFEE LIMITED (TCL) is implementing a grouped project titled "M/S. Tata Coffee Limited (TCL) Tree Plantation Carbon Project In Western Ghats" (VCS ID 5010). The primary activity under this grouped project is the plantation of native tree species along with the coffee plantation on privately owned coffee estates of Tata Coffee Limited.

Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) may be issued for the greenhouse gas emission reductions and removals for which TATA COFFEE LIMITED (TCL) will be claiming carbon credits under VERRA. The ownership of these credits lies exclusively with TATA COFFEE LIMITED (TCL).

This notice intends to apprise you about the project, to avoid any potential risk of double counting under this grouped project.
