Tata Coffee is committed to the environment and works in tandem with nature to produce quality crops. Agro-chemicals are scrutinised at the research and development laboratory and indigenous methods used to control pests instead of pesticides. Leaf litter, fruit droppings, cherry husk and coffee pulp are also used as compost to retain the fertility of the soil. These factors contribute to the production of large quantities of Estate Specific, Strain Specific, Speciality and Premium Coffees while consistently preserving quality.
